I walked home slower than on Tuesday to calm my head. The park path was muddier than last week after rain, yet the air smelled cleaner than near the main road. A dog on the bench looked friendlier than the one that barked near the bridge.

Today felt longer than Wednesday even though the hours were the same. My project partner sent more detailed notes than before, which helped, but the final slide design looked duller than our first draft. I stayed later than planned to fix colours.
Friday, 16 May
Friday was lighter than Thursday. The team laughed more often than we did midweek, and the café downstairs was less crowded than at lunchtime. My evening yoga class was more relaxing than any screen time I tried last night.

I cleaned the flat more thoroughly than on the previous weekend. The floor is shinier than before, and the bookshelf looks more organized than the messy pile from Friday night. Still, the laundry basket is fuller than I expected for one person.
